we're not that different

So I'm studying for art history and once again I am reminded how all of the disciplines are interconnected. For example Josiah Wedgewood is known in the art world for his design of imitation porcelain and Jasperware. He was also a strong business man and was elected into the English Royal Society for his chemistry. In addition Wedgewood was grandfather to Charles Darwin. I just like to point out ways art is connected to other disciplines... I feel as though not a lot of people respect art on an intellectual level...
